Progress in our work on the metal-catalyzed formation of carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bond forming reactions will be presented. This will include studies on Pd- and Cu-catalyzed C-N and C-O bond formation. In addition, our work on developing enhanced versions of the Suzuki-Miyaura, Negishi and Sonogashira coupling reactions will be detailed.
