The ability to use computer spreadsheets for scientific data analysis and modeling is a skill that is expected in the scientific community. Students can learn to use spreadsheets more efficiently in a course designed for that purpose. This course consists of six two-hour laboratory periods in which students learn through hands on tutorials followed by graded assignments. The topics include least square data fitting, statistics, solving simultaneous equations and dynamic modeling.
