Mercury Immobilization in Soil and Water I

This session will present a wide range of research related to the occurrence of mercury in natural settings, the treatment technologies for mercury abatement, and how various organic groups and surfaces bind and interact with mercury. The presentations will provide a foundation for the publication of a book on mercury chemistry to be published in Springer's "Structure and Bonding" series.
