The results of light scattering measurements from colloidal gels and microgels will be reported. These measurements provide insight into the dynamics and structures of these systems. I will describe recent results that help determine the nature of the gelation process and the relationship of the properties of the gels to the control parameters used in their formation. These stuctures are good models for stability of dispersions.
