| Bio-Based Materials: Session III | |||
| This session will cover how bio-based and renewable materials such as sugars and starches are substituting for petrochemical building blocks to revolutionize chemical manufacturing. Contributions are encouraged in the conversion of biomass (agricultural waste products, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, terpenoids) into industrially viable products, and the use of carbon dioxide as a new feedstock, and discussion of scale-up into industrial processes. | |||
