| Ensuring the Effective Patent Protection of Innovative Chemical Technology | |||
| Protecting intellectual property with patents has become an important component of the missions of scientists across the business and university landscape. The dual complexities of patent law and of innovative molecular technology require the melding together of specialized scientific and legal expertise in order to effectively protect and commercialize intellectual property. In this session, lawyers will address selected topics in patent prosecution from the scientist’s point of view. Emphasis will be placed on what scientists working in the broad field of molecular technology need to know about current developments in patent law. | |||
