For the past 3 years numerous local sections across Illinois have collaborated to host a tent at the annual Illinois State Fair held in Springfield, Illinois. The tent hosts numerous hands-on activities and is operated to make the general public aware of the contributions of Chemistry in our every day lives. This paper will describe the collaborative activities that have made this a popular tent at the state fair.
