How to Identify a High Quality FT-IR Spectrum and Rectify Associated Problems

Silvio Pattacini, Pattacini Associates, Danbury, CT

This lecture will show the various imperfections one may encounter using various FT-IR sampling techniques, instrument operation and how to remedy the spectrum. High quality IR spectra are necessary to obtain for spectral searching of IR libraries and archival storage of the spectra for future use.
