This talk reviews Eastman Kodak Company's roll-to-roll approach to manufacturing its cholesteric LC flexible display media. How the continuous-coating process was modified for the unique requirements of this display will be discussed, along with considerations for ITO laser-etched support, screen printing PTF inks, slitting, and chopping.
