Materials Enabling Multi-Catalyst Systems

D. Tyler McQuade, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY

The goal of the McQuade group is to create new materials and methods to synthesize drugs more efficiently. The materials that we typically make are polymeric in nature and involve some sort of active element including but not limited to catalysis and sensing. This seminar will detail how we use liquid-liquid interfaces to create new materials, and how these materials are then used to synthesize small molecules.
