Several new compounds with the above formulae (LL and LL' represent diimine ligands) have been prepared by the reaction of Rh2(CH3CO2)4 with the appropriate diimine ligand(s). All new compounds were characterized spectroscopically. The variation in spectroscopic properties will be presented and their relationship to the substituent(s) and the diimine ligand(s) will be discussed.
