Science applied to the Endicott spill can tell us how TCE affects us, the probability that a given exposure will lead to cancer, how TCE enters our homes, and other other quantitative aspects of the toxic spill. However, to translate this scientific data and analysis into public policy and procedures requires a complex interaction between affected citizens, responsible parties, regulatory agencies, and politicians. This talk will highlight some of these interactions that have occurred and are occurring as a result of the Endicott TCE spill.
