Medicinal chemistry is a highly interdisciplinary science combining organic chemistry with biochemistry, computational chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, molecular biology, statistics, and physical chemistry. The first Medicinal Chemistry Symposium is joint with SOMAB and features medicinal chemistry activities across the US/Canada border.
