Catalytic C–H oxidation as a general method for chemical synthesis

Justin Du Bois, Stanford University, Stanford, CA

Rhodium-catalyzed intramolecular C–H amination is an enabling technology for the assembly of a diverse set of heterocyclic structures from amine-based starting materials. The value-added products generated from this oxidative cyclization process have numerous applications in synthesis. Recent advances in the development of such methodology will be described.
