Controlling chemical reactivity in femtoliter-volume droplets

Daniel T. Chiu, University of Washington, Seattle, WA

This presentation outlines a platform that we are developing for control chemical reactions in femtoliter-volume droplets. These technologies are enabled by current developments in micro and nanofluidics, as well as on ultrasensitive optically based methodologies for the manipulation and detection of a single or small group of molecules.
