Polyarylarylenes are important materials for various optoelectric applications such as Small Molecule Light Emitting Diodes (SMOLEDs) and Solar cells. We have prepared various polyarylarylenes by applying Green Chemistry principles. In this presentation details of our synthetic strategies, as well as our characterization of related intermediates and products will be discussed. Optical properties of these materials will also be presented.
