The photo reduction of CO

nF
2n+1)-2,2'-Bipyridine; n=1, 6, 8] catalyst was investigated. TON and TOF were determined utilizing a GC method for original conditions (DMF, TEOA) and compared to experiments featuring a flourous co-solvent [perfluoromethylcyclohexane (PFMCH)]. Results are compared with earlier experimentation of DMF/PFMCH, TEOA conditions and literature results.
