Three cytotoxic compounds have been isolated and identified from a fungal endophyte extracted from the plant Alstonia scholaris, and two other bioactive compounds have been isolated and identified from a fungal endophyte from the plant Acmena graveolens. Both plants were collected from the canopy of an Australian rainforest. Identification of the compounds were established using NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques.
