The object of this process is to reduce the pollution caused by the release of T2O to the environment from nuclear power plants and other nuclear operations. This also includes recovery from contaminated ground water. The secondary objective is to produce a saleable product. The basis for this process is the difference in freezing point of H2O and T2O. The process is comprised of various unit operations including; Concentration, Crystallization, Storage, Electrolysis and Compression.
