Biomaterials
This session seeks papers focusing on the design and utilization of synthetic and naturally derived materials intended to interface with biological systems. Examples of specific topics include synthesis, characterization, or new applications of novel functionalized biomaterials, bioinspired or biomimetic materials, and materials for use in drug and gene delivery vehicles, tissue engineering, medical implants, bioseparation, and biosensor applications.
