Energy management is one of the most challenging tasks facing organizations today. However, with sound planning and utilizing some tools of the trade, it doesn’t have to be. This workshop is designed to help organizations alleviate concerns and maximize opportunities in both regulated and deregulated energy markets. Three primary strategies for smart energy purchasing will be highlighted: 1. Improve purchasing practices – buy what you need at the best rate; 2. Change behavior – reduce energy cost by changing the way it is used; and 3. Make wise capital investments – make equipment purchases that yield lower energy costs.
