Perfluorinated Oxaziridines - First 40 Years

Viacheslav A. Petrov, DuPont CR&D, Wilmington, DE

The chemistry of perfluorinated oxaziridines was started back in 1976 with the report on successful synthesis of first representative – perfluoro-2-azapropene oxide [1]. This material was shown to have very unusual chemistry, which was developed in the group of Professor D. DesMarteau. This presentation will review the progress made in last 40 years in the synthesis and chemistry of perfluorinated oxaziridines.
