| Patent Law in the Age of Nanoscience I | |||
| A light-hearted look at patent law through the ages launches this symposium of oral presentations. The first group of talks on Wednesday explores broad trends in substantive patent law and policy, particularly regarding biotechnology and nanotechnology. On Thursday, we will examine more practical aspects of the intersection of chemistry and the law. Those practical aspects include patenting issues facing the chemist-inventor, and an exciting look at the chemist-expert witness's role in clandestine drug manufacturing criminal trials. | |||
