5th Floor B (Greenville Hyatt Regency Hotel)
Solid-State Chemistry (2)
Crystal Engineering, Southern Style (Fried, Baked or Boiled) I
The symposium will involve many aspects of Crystal Engineering, from crystal structure design and synthesis to the materials properties of engineered crystals. Topics will include organic crystal engineering (including weak interactions such as hydrogen bonding), inorganic crystal engineering (hydrogen-bonded networks, coordination polymers), and experimental and theoretical work with functionality and applications for crystals and nanocrystals. Contributed papers will be considered in addition to the invited speakers. A poster session will also be associated with the symposium.
