Frontiers in Nucleic Acid Chemistry IV

Session IV. The symposium “Frontiers in Nucleic Acid Chemistry” marks the 20th anniversary of the highly successful Southeastern DNA Group meetings first organized in 1985. Traditionally the DNA symposium has been concurrently held in conjunction with the Southeast Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society (SERMACS). The meeting provides an excellent mix of cutting-edge science focused in nucleic acid chemistry, structural biology and biophysical chemistry. This year, Frontiers in Nucleic Acid Chemistry will specifically focus on the structure and stability of a variety of nucleic acid structural motifs and nucleic acid-ligand complexes from many of the top nucleic acid scientists throughout the nation. For additional information and/or questions regarding this symposium, please contact the organizers, David Graves of the University of Alabama-Birmingham (dgraves@uab.edu) or Jonathan B. Chaires (j.chaires@louisville.edu).
