The anisotropic nature of carbon nanotubes suggest correlation with macroscopic fibers. This presentation will focus on our current efforts to modify bulk properties such as strength, thermal conductivity etc in diverse fiber systems such as nylon (thermoplastic), Spandex (elastomeric) and Kevlar (gel spun). The performance improvements are considered in several applications.
