17th Year of Teaching Frontier Chemistry at a High School: A Learning Experience. 2009 Recipient of the Southwest Regional ACS Award for Excellence in High School Teaching

The author will share his learning and rewarding experiences as a chemistry teacher for the last seventeen years at the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. The author will take the opportunity to share his mission of teaching by integrating basic chemistry research, chemistry Olympiad and Engineering competitions at the High School Level.
